Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate
Other services such as hotels or flights on their own may not be protected and you should ask us what protection is available.
Complaints about holidays are best dealt with on the spot by our representative. If you need to take the matter further you should first raise it with the travel agent with whom you booked your holiday. The agent may be able to help resolve the problem, but if not he or she will raise it with us directly.
If you've followed these steps but still have a dispute, we can also offer you an arbitration scheme for the resolution of disputes arising out of this contract. The scheme is arranged by ABTA and administered independently. It is a simple and inexpensive method of arbitration on documents alone with restricted liability on you for costs. The upper limit on claims is 5,000 per person and 25,000 per booking form. The scheme doesnt apply to claims which are solely in respect of physical injury or illness or their consequences. It can however deal with claims which include an element of minor injury or illness subject to a limit of 1,500 on the amount the arbitrator can award per person in respect of this element. Your request for arbitration must be received by ABTA within eighteen months of the date of return from holiday. For injury and illness claims, you can request the ABTA Mediation Procedure and we have the option to agree to mediation. Further information on the Code and ABTAs assistance in resolving disputes can be found on http://abta.com/go-travel/travel-clinic/complaints.
